An easy DIY kit to make elderberry syrup fresh for your family! This kit uses herbs that have been shown in many studies to support your immune system through the winter months.
Kid tested and approved! (It's seriously so good!)
Ingredients: Elderberries, Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger, Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano
Directions:
- Pour contents into a small pot with 2.5 cups of filtered water
- Bring to a boil, covered, stirring frequently
- Turn down to a simmer for 30-45 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally
- When liquid has reduced by 1/2, strain off over a bowl using a wire mesh strainer or using a colander and cheesecloth or paper towel
- Press down or squeeze to get all the goodness out of the herbs
- Add 3/4 - 1 cup honey to the liquid (about the same as the amount of liquid - this makes it last longer in the fridge)
- Put syrup in a jar with a lid and store in the fridge for 3-6 months
Suggested Use:
Adults - Take 1 tablespoon once a day
Kids - Take 1 teaspoon once a day
When sick take dose 3-4 times a day
