It is unscented and safe for all ages.  It is helpful for "drawing out" things from skin such as splinters, stingers, bug bites, and protecting from infection.  It can also be used after contact with irritating plants and on breakouts.

Plantain is highly astringent has also been used for centuries for anti-infection and wound healing. Calendula’s anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties make it soothing for the affected area.  Activated charcoal and bentonite clay are highly porous and able to absorb a lot of toxins and draw them out of the skin.
 
We use this at home for splinters, after tick and spider bites, boils, and if we got blackberry thorns or some glass stuck in our skin.
